About CurbMark LA
We’re a small, local Los Angeles curb number company built on one idea: clear numbers, honest pricing, and no pressure sales.
Why we started
Drive any LA neighborhood at night and you’ll see it: faded curb numbers, numbers half-covered by old paint, or nothing at all. Drivers circle, guests text “which one is yours?”, and emergency crews lose time.
Most curb painting around here comes as a knock on the door and an awkward “donation” ask. We wanted something simpler: flat prices posted online, you order when you want, you pay before we paint, and nobody stands on your porch waiting for cash.
Our City of LA permit: where things stand
To paint house numbers on curbs as a business in the City of Los Angeles, the Municipal Code (LAMC §62.96) requires an annual permit from the Bureau of Street Services, a $500 surety bond, and public liability insurance that names the City.
As of October 2026, our permit is in progress. It has not been issued yet. We won’t paint any City of LA curb until it is. Once it’s issued, we’ll post the permit number here, carry a copy on every job, and include it in the scheduling email we send before we paint.
